Our concept for the site and owner’s development goals is both technically responsive and poetically inspired by the spectacular mountain setting. Perched 300 meters above sea level, the west facing site dramatically slopes at gradients sometimes exceeding a 2: 1 ratio and in some areas more than 1:1 slope. Our concept is inspired by and responsive to the powerful metaphysical and physical forces of nature that flow from the mountain to the tranquility of the sunset and the inverse: the forces of nature emanating from the sea. A unique ‘Tropical Modern’ style and form which meshes seamlessly with the landscape is conceived.
